Adult Classes & WorkshopsEducation Program - Spring 2012
New for spring: 26 Classes & Workshops, Something for Everyone!
The Printmaking Center's education program is a transformative, lifelong learning experience that enables artists to grow and evolve; sharpen their skills; and develop their own unique artistic voice.
More »Combat PaperCombat Paper is a unique program where young veterans transform their combat fatigues into handmade paper. During weekly drop-in sessions at the Printmaking Center vets cut up their uniforms into small pieces and beat them into pulp. In subsequent sessions participating vets then form the pulp into sheets of paper and use the paper to create deeply personal and often healing works of art, journals and books.
Combat Paper is held Sundays beginning October 23, from 10am until 4pm at the Printmaking Center of New Jersey, 440 River Road, Branchburg, NJ. Veterans can drop-in with no pre-registration necessary. There is no charge to veterans for participate.
